Trying to find information about the Fellows family in NYC.

Excerpts from my great grandfather's obituary from 1938:

Edward A. Fellows of St. Albans, prominent in the borough as a builder until his retirement in 1921 died of an illness of five days. He was 68.

Born in Harlem on April 2, 1870. He was the son of William Collier Fellows.

In 1907 he and Owen Clary of Richmond Hill joined in partnership in the firm of Fellows and Clary. Built many stores and businesses in Woodhaven, and Jamaica. The firm built the Hillside, Richmond Hill and Jamaica Masonic lodges.

He was a member of the Washington Grays, the old 8th Regiment of New York. Moved in 1921 to St. Albans.

Survived by Mary Cavanagh Fellows, wife
Mrs. John (Sadie) Moser of Ridgefield, CT, daughter
Mrs. Wilfred (Jessie) Cooper of St. Albans, NY, daughter
Albert Edward Fellows of Hempstead, NY, son
William Fellows of Rye, NY, brother
Mrs. Ida Reif of Elmhurst, NY, sister
