fetterman family.
in 1750 balthasar, casimer and herman vetterman and 2 sisters sailed to america on the ship patience. they found there way north from phila. to what is now the southern end of lehigh co., settling in dillingersville and zionsville. balthasar vetterman, who is forefather of most of the fetterman's, settled at what is now ol zionville,, and on april 22,1751 married catharin m. huft, d/o johann george and margaret huft.
the 2 sisters' grave have been located near dillingersville and that of balthasar at the lehigh ch.. children; 1. johan george, 2. anna margaret, 3. johann michael, 4.anna maria. 5. johann philip, 6, maria salome, 7 anna margaretha, 8, johannes.

jacob fetterman, s/o john philip, was born aug. 15, 1784. he died april 26, 1865. about 1807 he married kate klein, and they had 2 children, jonathan and sallie. he married 2 to sybilla frantz, born near trumbauersville, bucks co., aug. 22, 1790, died feb. 2, 1859.. childen, elizabeth, w/o jacob moll, levi, lovina, born 1825, died 1883, marrid jonathan andrews, noah, 1828, died 1859 married to anna kuhns.
