fetherman, philip, came in 1806 from lehigh co., located near bossardville, monroe co., now owned by abraham fetherman. his children were 5 sons and 4 daus. 3 sons-balser, abram and john-settled in hamilton twp. the children of balsar are charles, jacob and jonathan. the sons of abram, are abraham and manasseh. one son of john fetherman, also named john lived in the twp. young, nicholas, purchased a tract in 1763, among his children was a son nicholas, married miss rummage. children; john, jacob, george, mary, elisabeth, susan, christy ann, and sally. jacob settled on the homestead. john settled upon the land now owned by his son, john w. young, who married sarah woodling. their children were; george, john w., and mary, of whom john a. married a dau. of thomas miller of the same twp., and had 3 children. strom, john, his two sons were amos, former associate judge and sheriff of monroe co., and frederick. a dau., mrs. anna slutter is also a resident of hamilton twp. jerome storm, the son of andrew is a resident of stroudsburg. barry, walter, who was of english birth came to hamilton from phila., prior to the rev. he had 2 son, walter and robert. walter died at the age of 100 and 11 years. robert married elisabeth myers. his children were, joseph, lewis, abram, francis, melchior, simon, robert, catharine w/o moses swink, ann, elizabeth w/o gabriel davis, christina, w/o jacob lace, rachel, w/o isaac slutter. hamilton twp-assessment, 1781, included walter barry, abraham miller, frederick miller, sarah miller, john strom voter of hamilton-1818 included, abraham miller, john miller, abraham fetherman, pilip fetherman, john storm, jr., thomas miller, christian miller, john young, john sluttr, andrew storm, john storm, balser fetherman assessment-1848, included, charles miller, john miller, thomas miller, george mille, john miller, james miller, charles fetherman, b. fetherman, jacob felker, abram fetherman, john fetherman, jr., christoper felker, george slutter, andrew storm, edward storm, samuel storm, isaac slutte, jacob slutter, levi slutter, john young. 1775-1780, sebastian brong, came from bucks co., he is know to have 8 children; viz/ peter, jacob, adam, sebastin, susan w/o felix weiss, barbary, w/o jacob dorshimer and catharine, w/o peter miller. polk twp. rinker, joseph, a grandson of abraham rinker, who kept a tavern near phila., at the close of the rev. he married in 1826 to catharine "bellos" note bellis, children, mary ann married abram huffsmith, william, lewis, elisabeth married george batholmew, hester w/o adam slutter, rosanna, w/o jermore heller, caleb, lydia w/o david bright, james w., rev. jospeh, who married rosie krotzer. taxables-1848 include, donal belles, frederick belles, nelson bells, william belles, sr., peter brong, joseph felker, john d. felker, charles hay, philip hay, jacob george miler, john miller, jacob woodling, samuel hay, george miller, peter miller,frederick miller, william young miller, thomas, who resided in hamilton twp., married catharine la bar, children; 8 sons and 5 daus., but one of these manasseh, a landlord in tannersville, he married harriet burriett and had 6 sons and 6 daus., of whom gideon b., simon b., joel b., morris b. and 4 daus. 1848-pardaise twp. included, reuben miller, john storm.
