Soon after his arrival, Jacob Dubs became a member of the Great Swamp Reformed Church. The date of his marriage has not accrately ascertained. His wife's name was Veronica Welker. She was born in Europe, but had relatives in America; and it appears likely that she ws the sister of George Welker, of Goshenhoppen. She is said to be a woman of some education. Children, 1 Felix, born 1738, 2. Barbara, born 1744, sp. Jacob Wetzel and Barbara Wetzel, 3. Margaretha, born 1746, sp Anna Maria Wetzel, 4.Daniel, 1748, 5. Elizabeth, born 1750. A Michael Felker was married in the charge.
