As a child, I heard talk of an Adolf feist. I have no idea about the relationship. My grandfather's grandfather was Jacob Feist from Frankfort, Germany. His parents in Germany were Abraham & Rachel Feist. Jacob married Sophia Kleimenhagen from Saxonia, Germany(b. 1818, d.1872 in New York) Jacob's children were Levi, Louis, Charles,Samuel and Jeanette.
All were Jewish. If you can use any of this and fill in any gaps for me, that would be great.
