Glad you replyed, I would be really interested to find out your history, as I'm sure we must have a similar interest, as I'm in the same area as you, and it seems that Feirn is an unusual spelling.

My Gt Grandma 'Amy Feirn' was married to 'Frederick Starling', they married in Tadcaster, Amy had a number of siblings:- Edward, Megginson, Sid (poss Herbert), Ethel. Her parents were John and Sarah Ann nee Craft. (Most are buried at Tadcaster).
