Dear Gillian,

Great to hear from you, my connection is as follows:

My Gt Grandma (Amy Feirn)was the daughter of John and Sarah Ann (family lived in and around Aberford, Milford). Amys yonger brother was called 'Megginson' - probably after his grandfather, who was called Megginson Feirn, he married Myra Spray in Barnetby le Wold Lincs, Megginson was one of about a dozen children of William and Alice. Sadly as yet I don't know anything further than that. Megginson was born about 1821 and married Myra in 1843.

Amy and her siblings were born around Tadcaster, North Yorkshire.

Look forward to hearing from you
