Feinsteins circa 1900 Jewish from Russia

I've recently discovered that my paternal grandfather's mother's maiden name was Barucha Feinstein in Russia (Yiddish). She became known as Rebecca or Becky when settled in Massachusetts around the turn of the century. She married Max Garber and had several children, among them Benjamin Garber for whom I am named.

Becky's parents are unknown, but she had a brother named Samuel who married Mary Bloom (b. 1888, d. 1973). They had three kids, Milton, Melvin and Lillian. From there my knowledge of the Feinstiens is lost.

My particular interest is in tracing these roots backwards. If we are related, we share a connection to Becky Feinstein and her ancestors.

I'm eager to share more. Thanks for your interest and happy hunting!
