The information suggests that Bertha was actually born in 1859 not 1860. Bertha had 4 brothers and one sister.
Gottfried Lange (known as Frederick) b 1844 or 1849
Michael Lange b 1851
Carl Lange b 1854
August Lange b 1858
Maria Lange b 1862.
Bertha came out to Australia on the "Ophelia" alone from London to join the rest of the family in Brisbane Australia.
She married a Dux 24/8/1877 and had 10 children. If any of this information sounds familiar please contact me, thanks.
