Dear Amanda,

My g-g-grandfather Johann Konrad Hiller was a missionary-pastor at Hawkinsville, NY in the years c. 1853-56. He was sent there by the New York Synod to establish a Lutheran Church among the German immigrants who had settled in the area. If your John Fehr and Agnes Steortz (good German names) were at Hawkinsville in that time period, they no doubt were acquainted with the Rev. J.K. Hiller.

Sorry that I cannot supply any further information. I will place your message in my research file just in case I come across your names. Will you please do the same for me?

Regards,

Perry Troutman
