Dear Ralph, First, let me thank you very much for looking this up and posting to my post. I do appreciate your help. Since I posted this inquiry, I found that my family may have been from MOYCULLEN, County Galway. The reason I have them from being Spiddal is that was told to me by a relative. I have good reason to believe they maybe from Moycullen or that area. According to the US Census', My Gaelige Speaking G/G Grandfather, Patrick Feeny/Feeney was born in August 1835. Thomas Feeny/Feeney would have been his dad, putting his birth abt. 1800 (approximate) and Catherine Clancy, which would be around the same time of birth. His wife, Julia O'Conor, was born August 1836. Your 1834 date may be a possibility. You can't take the census' dates as exact or correct with ages. Anyways, it is people like you that help when we can't get anywhere. I think alot of Irish descendants are frustrated just like me, but if the records do not exit, I have learned to accept it. Thanks again. Notify Administrator about this message?
