Denis Feeney & Mary Hoban Feeney came to Boston
about 1860+- from Roscommon. They had atleast five children: Michael, Hanora, Brigid, Ann and my grgrgrandfather Edward Feeney. I have no evidence of the girls having come to Boston. The birth records indicate
that they came from the RC Parish of Kilbride.
A Luke Feeney and Mary Igo were godparents to a few
of the children so I think Denis may have had a brother
Luke. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I would
love to know the exact towland in Roscommon.
