Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Yes, I do have some additional information about the Feeney girls, although some of it is suspect. The Feeney girls never seemed to tell the truth about their ages! Nora claimed to have been born about 1865, and Catherine about 1870. However, I suspect they were born earlier. I have also learned that the parents, Philip Feeney and Ellen Moffitt, were married on 24 Jan. 1842.
Nora was in the US by October of 1882. She married, on 8 April 1890, at St. Brigid Church, Meadville, Martin Malley. She died on 19 June 1934, Meadville, PA. Catherine, or Kate, was married late, again at St. Brigid's, to Simon Shoemaker. Catherine died on 5 Nov. 1938, Meadville, PA.
