Referring back to a post of mine Oct 19 2002, a couple of things can now be cleared up:
Thomas did not become a priest, he went to war, received a part war pension (bullet wound in foot), worked on the railway in Roma, Ipswich Queensland. Thomas also married not sure if he had any children.
The priest was a son of James and Margaret Feeney (came to Australia before his brothers Patrick and Thomas Feeney). He was a priest at Woody Point Brisbane at some time due to an inscription I have on a Book of Queensland gifted to parishioners (Mr and Mrs Evans) for their dedicated service as pioneers to a western queensland town.
