Hi, Dot. My GGGrandfather, James Patrick Feeney was born in Elpin Ireland 2/4/1804. He came to this country in 1840, after being married to Mary Purcell Fox 5/26/39. He came to Circleville, OH in 1841 after arriving in NY in 1840. He sent for his wife & her sister in 1848. I havn't a clue why he waited that long. they had one child, Maggie.James died of cholera 8/6/52. His daugher married an Abernethy & stayed in Circleville. Does anyone have anything else pertinent to this? Thanks, Marianne at corbettm@netwalk.com.
