Jane, I just saw this posting and i can't give you any information about the "Wells" side of the family, but i have a little information about the Feeneys'. My paternal grandmother was cecelia Feeney. This is definitely the same family because I remember meeting"Oggie" Wells and her husband a number of times when I was a child. My grandmother married Patrick Brodbine and they had 5 children- four sons and a Daughter. Only the daughter, Cecelia, is alive today. They formerly lived in St. Colunba's parish in North Philadelphia and they along with My great uncle,Patrick Feeney, sponsored my great aunt, Bridget Feeney, in America. She arrived through Ellis Island(you can find her records at the Ellis Island web site). She sufferred from polio and eventually died about 1970. My grandmother,Cecelia, passed away about the same time. Katherine Feeney joined the "Mercy" order of nuns; I'm not sure if she has passed away. We went to visit her once on her 50th anniversary. She had taught in Catholic schools her entire adult life. I hope this gives you a little information. If you have any to share, please do so. Ed Brodbine Notify Administrator about this message?
