My grandmother was Elllen Folan born Cournarone, Inverin, County Galway, Ireeland in 1852. She married Eamon Feeney of Tourbegg, Bohoona, Spiddle, County Galway, Ireland, born 1935. He was born in 1835. both of them lived and died in Ireland. Relatives of both still live in and about Spiddle, many of their siblings, and their children came to the USA some settling in Boston, some in Portland, ME and others in Minnesota, California etc. Most of my records are scattered through files, loose-leaf notebooks, folders etc as I am just beginning to make use of a computer. When my memory was younger I could locate any item in a jiffey, but no longer. It might take me awhile to assemble and study what I have on the Folans and Feeneys in the area, here and in Ireland. Some did go to New Zealand and Australia.
Looking to hear from you soon, Joe.
