Thomas Feeny married Bridget O' Keefe some time before 1838. He is likely the
Thomas Feeny in Griffith's Valuation in Athleague, Trouman. It is said that his son Michael went first to England
before coming to America and that his first two children, James and Mary were born there.
The Feenys were certainly settled in Ionia before 1876.
Two children of Thomas Feeny emigrated that I know of:
Ann Feeny, who married Patrick Peets (Peats) came to Ionia about 1866. Peets may have been from Coolusty in Althleague.
Michael Feeny married Catherine O' Hara, d of James O' Hara and
Mary Ragen. Children:
James A Feeny born abt 1865, England, died 12/8/1932 Toledo, OH
Mary A. Feeny b 1869 England, m Charles H. Weatherwax, died Nov 11, 1956 in Ionia Michigan.
Thomas E Feeney b 1873 possibly Michigan, died Oct 15, 1956 in Jackson, MI
Michael C. Feeny born 3/6/1876 Ionia, MI, died Sept 26, 1948 prob Richmond, VA
Anna Elizabeth Feeny b 7/13/1878 Ionia MI, died before 1880
Joseph henry Feeny b 7/13/1878 Ionia MI, died July 18, 1948, ionia
William Edward Feeny b 9/9/1880 d 12/13/1943 Ionia
Charles L Feeny b 8/27/1883 d 10/9/1948 Ionia
