There were Feeney's that settled around Weston, WV. My great-grandfather (Michael or Mickey) settled there in the 19th century. I am told he was from Elphin parish in County Roscommon. He had several sons and daughters, one of whom I think was named John. My grandfather and father were both named Patrick, as am I. My dad died when I was young and I have had almost no contact with the Feeneys around Weston since I was a child. I believe there are still Feeneys there, however. I believe one is named Tom. Hope this helps.
