thank you for your message. I have just found out that mygreagtreagrandafrther had paid tax in lisnanne in the parish of kilcooley tuskl near storkestown. He had actucally paid. The griffiths tax evalutation in 1847 i have also found out that he also had a brother by the name of bernard feeny. So i now konw that mygreatgreagrandfararther was definently born in galway but i dont know where his name was john feeny and he was also a labourer.
