My gggrandmother was Margaret Feeney. She was in the US by the 1860 census. She was born about 1838. I found that her brother, John Feeney, and her sister, Mary Feeney Duane, also came to the US. Mary came with her daughter Catherine Duane in 1890. Mary was born in 1834. This is the information that I found about John. John son of Jerome Feeney and Catherine , b. in 1825 in the town of Kinvarra, county of Galway, Barony Kiltarten, diocese of Kilmadough. He came to New York, then Springfield, MA and settled in Palmer, MA. I made contact with a relative on the Mary Feeney line who provided the maiden name of Catherine(the mother of John, Margaret, and Mary). He says that it is Corless/Corliss. I have not done any research in Ireland yet so any information would be appreciated.
