Linda, I'm very interested in your info. My line is also from Co.Galway & with a Michael & Daniel (the 2 names together are not as common as one would guess). I'm trying to establish exactly where in Galway they lived, & have numerous searches about this. My Michael Feeney had a son Daniel in 1821, who came to Australia without his family.
Have you been able to find out where in Galway your Dan came from? Did any family emmigrate with him? May be better to contact me by email so I can give more info, Ron
