Daniel Feeney, born in Galway Co., Ireland, married Bridget Bennet in 1829. Settled in Defiance Co., Ohio and died May 31, 1861. To this marriage were 4 children: Henry, Ann(died 1897), Michael(born 1830 in Ireland and died March 27, 1892), Daniel (born 1840 in Ireland, died Sept. 1892) My family tree runs from Daniel who married Margaret Long on March 10, 1880 in Defiance County, Ohio. Daniel fought in the civil war - 184th regiment O.V.I. Margaret and Daniel, Defiance County, Ohio had 5 children: Nellie, James Garfield, Daniel, Frank Welty, Michael Henry. My family tree runs from James Garfield who married Kathryn Wilhemenia Rohrs on March 10, 1902. This union produced 8 children: Mabel, Irene, Maynard, Frances, Mary Kathryn, Laura Ruth, James Kenneth, and Donald William. My family tree runs from Donald Willam Feeney, born 1925 in Lima, Ohio and died 1983, Lima, Ohio.
