I have recently re-started research and am hoping to get help once more. I still am looking for my ggrandmother and I am getting a bit confused because I have found several scenarios and I can't find concrete evidence of which is correct. I just can't seem to actually find for sure who Leona's Hoskins Slusher's parents were and without that I cannot proceed further back in history.
Here's what I have:
Wayco Hoskins and Jerusha Fee had Leona Hoskins (my ggrandmother) out of wedlock. I can't find anything to back this up.
Wayco Hoskins and Mary Fee had Amanda and Ida Fee out of wedlock. Is Mary in fact Jerusha and one of these two children in fact Leona?
I have obtained Leona Hoskins death certificate and my gfather listed Wayco Hoskins and Rutha Fee has her parents. I can't find Rutha Fee or any connection to Wayco Hoskins.
My cousin found a Jerusha in Fleming county KY with a mother of Frances Jane Fee (a slave?) and father Harrison Silvey.
I guess you can see my confusion. Again I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you once more.
