THOMAS MILTON FEE
Posted by: Thomas Fee (ID *****2130) Date: May 12, 2009 at 11:05:19
  of 756

Thomas Milton Fee was born 18 April 1839 in Feesburg, Brown County, Ohio. He died 13 April 1910 in Centerville, Appanoose County, Iowa. He was the son of Thomas J. Fee and Sarah Hastings.

Thomas had three wives. He married Maria J. Pennington
17 August 1862 in Appanoose County Iowa. They had three children: Franklin, William, and Charles M. Fee. His second wife was Maria Barker, whom he married 24 May 1871. They had four children: John Albert, Martha Elizabeth, Thomas Grant, and Marble Eugena Fee. His third wife was Priscilla Sedgewick MacGregor. They were married 20 Sep 1885 and had one child: Joseph M. Fee.

Thomas M. Fee is listed on numberous Census reports. The first I found listed him as Thomas M. Fea, age 10, on the Census of Thomas J. Fea, age 51, in the census of Perry, Pike County, IL. (Notice the misspelling of the name Fee). Thomas M. Fee is listed at age 21 in the 1860 Federal Census report for Ottumwa, Wapello Co., Iowa. He is listed at age 31 on the 1870 Federal Census for Centerville, Appanoose Co., Iowa. He is listed at age 41 on the 1880 Federal Census for Centerville, Apanoose Co., Iowa. Thomas M. Fee is listed at age 56 on the 1895 Iowa State Census Colection. He is listed at age 61 on the 1900 Census for Appanoose County. Finally he is listed at age 70 on the 1910 U.S. Federal Census for Appanoose County, a short time before his death.

Again, from the posting above, if you have Thomas T. Fee of Iowa on your family tree, please change the name to Thomas Milton Fee.
