I finally received the death certificates of William E Federline and Sarah C. Federline the other day from the MD Archives. The one for William E Federline states that he died on June 25, 1908 at the age of 64 in Highland, MD (Howard County), white male born in MD, married, farmer, wife=Sarah C Federline. And yes, just as you said, Margaret was right...his parents names are blank but it states that they were both from Ireland?!?!(grumble)Those answers were reported by Leonard Federline (his son). His doctor records his death as due to arterio Capillary Sclerosis/Cardiac Asthenia.Roxanne, please tell me, where did Margaret get William's mother's maiden name to be "Ward".I assumed she got that from this death certificate but its not listed so please tell me where she got the surname "Ward" for Mary (James's wife). You'll be disappointed to know that Sarah's death certificate is almost totally illegible. It does state that she died on February 7th, 1929, white female, widowed, married to Wm. Federline, born July 20, 1852, age at death 76 and 6 months, father Bernard McCrossing from MD, the mother's name and birthplace is what I really wanted and I cannot make it out (when I go to the MD archives I'll ask to see the original, maybe it will be more readable). Place of burial Clarksville, MD...buried on Feb 11, 1929.Thats all the info I can read for certain. Not much more revealed but I told you I would notify you when these documents arrived and share the info.More soon, I hope!Take care!
