Phil,

Great to hear from someone that has information on the UK. I hope we are talking about the same Samuel Feebrey. The one that was born about 1794-1796 in Gloucester Shire England. Samuel was a member of the 4th Regiment (also known as The Kings Own) that left from Sheerness England on the 5th April 1832 bound for Australia. His military record in Australia shows his spelling as FEEBURY. He married and had 7 children. One was also called Samuel born 1836 Penrith. DBM shows the births with several spelling eg. Freebury, Fabray and Feebuery. Hope you can help. Aileen
