I found confirmation that Darbys parents were indeed Barney and Bridget. Hugh his brother, listed his parents and Barney and Bridget Featherston I also found a record of a Barney in Roscommon as a landowner but of one acre. Same barney?
Do you have any record of siblings to your Willam. William would be born after Hugh in 1837 and Darby in 1830. I have a cencus record of Barney in Canada as early as 1850.
