Hi Mike,
I wondered where we fit in the family because I had always heard ties to Poestenkill. We are from the George A. Feathers (b. 1761). My family is from his son, Bugbee Feathers (b. July 30, 1797); then his son, Joseph (b. 7/1/1840, d. 2/6/1931); then his son, Samuel Benjamin Feathers (b. 11/6/1868 & d. 4/1950); then his son Joseph Earl Feathers (b. 1/12/1899, d. 10/1/1978), then his son, Earl J Feathers, was my father (b. 1/20/1927, d. 6/17/1981).

My records show that the Bugbee and Samuel Feathers were two of George A. Feathers' 11 children. Samuel Feathers married Chloe Ann Ide (b. 1805 & d. 1875). "(Bailey)" was written after Chloe Ann Ide in one notation, but I don't know if that was her maiden name or not. I am wondering if that has something to do with the Bailey name you mentioned.

I will be glad to provide what little help I can be.

Fern
