In addition to my last posting, after some light grilling of my Mother, I now know that her Father's name was William Fearis, he was born around 1890/1, his nickname was actually Bluey. He had an older brother, George. Their Father, (still working on his first name) worked with horses, in one of Newmarket's stables. A relation of William and George's (possibly a cousin) was a well-known jockey, there is a photograph taken around the turn of the century of him in jockey colours on top a classic winner. I am to view the photo soon. A family friend has it. I will post more as I dicover it.
