Many thanks for a detailed reply to the problem. May I ask what the site was that posted a disclaimer about the spurious information? I am the one who published the article in the NEHGR 153:466 (Oct 1999) and another about "The Wife of Arent Cornelius Identified." in the NYG&B Record, His wife was Patientia Patrick, daughter of Capt. Daniel Patrick. There is a lot of unsourced information online about conflicting dates and places for Feake and Patrick descendants. Since you are decended from James, son of Tobias and Anneke (Patrick) Feake, who did yur James marry? Children? They were Quakers in Flushing as was Tobias and my supposed ancestor, Daniel Patrick, son of CApt. Daniel and Anneke. I will search in the warliest Quaker vital records on microfilm from the FHL as soon as it arrives.
