Hi Alfred,

Thankyou for your message.

My great-grandparents, three sons, and a daughter moved to New Zealand at some stage in the early to mid-1900's.

My Great-grandfather's name was Thomas and the children were:

Arthur - my grandfather
John (Jack)
James (Jim)
Selena (Lena)

It is my understanding that Preston is where they lived before they emigrated.

In 1938 my great-grandfather returned to England to try and organise a "fighting fund" to attempt to have the fabled Fazackerley fortune released from Chancery - sadly he did not succeed.

My Great-Grandfather and his chidren set-up in Christchurch, New Zealand as poultry farmers and most of this branch of the family still live in and around Christchurch, although the connection with piultry has not been carried on.

Alan Fazackerley
