There was (according to the Newspaper reports) no Manor mentioned in the will of Nicholas Fazackerley. There is no record of the value of his Estate. After bequests he left whatever was left to a succesion of male kinsmen by the name of Radcliffe and then to males by the name of Bradshaw and only for the period of their lives. The last persons to inherit were a Betty Bradshaw and her sons. Any person who inherited had to take the name of Fazackerley - hence the idea that persons bearing the Fazackerley name could - a big question mark - be a descendant of Betty Bradshaw.
Any possible claim would have fallen foul of the Statute of Limitations.
