Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

From Family Tree Maker Vol. 15:

"Louis Fayard, Junior married Sarah Cowart
December 14, 1871. He was a Methodist "circuit rider" for over fifty years...
His biography in the Mississippi Annual Conference by J. L. Neill stated that the
family of Louis & Martha Fayard spoke a mixture of The French language commonly know along the coast as "Creole". He died
in 1934, March 28.

I am also researching a Thomas family
(from Harrison Co., MS) if I read your
post correctly; which Thomas family are
you researching?
