Richard Sylvester was my gr-grandfather.
Varilla's children are:
1. Lula
2. Melissa Mary, born Nov. 17, 1884, died Aug. 27, 1970. She married Aug. 9, 1900 to Samuel "Mack" Taylor, born Apr. 20, 1877, died Mar. 19 1935. Both are buried at Coalville.
3. Samuel H., born cJan 1886(1900 census). He married (1) Vergie Bowington and (2) Emily D. Scarborough.
4. John W., born cDec 1888(1900 census). He married Apr. 12 1914 to Annie Inez Scarborough, born Feb. 18, 1882, died Aug. 21, 1976. She is buried at Coalville.
Varilla and John were married Jul 15, 1880 (Harrison Co. Marriage Bk. 7, p. 175.
