My husband's grandmother clipped obits and other interesting bits of history from Almond, Wisconsin area.
Here is one.
Ellsworth T. Fay, 53, Almond, died at 12:45, 1/5/?? at the state hospital at Winnebago. Mr. Fay was born in the town of Oasis, Waushara county, on Aug. 11, 1898, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leander Fay. On Oct. 10, 1921, he married Miss Myrtle Boelter of Almond. Survived by wife; one son, Duane Fay of Milwaukee; one daughter, Mrs. Dolores Meyer of Plainfield; 2 grandchildren; a brother, Milton Fay of Bancroft, and a sister, Mrs. Jessie Rasch of Racine. Funeral services at St. John's Lutheran church in Almond. Hardell funeral home.
