I am a Fawcett from Wakefield, my dad is a carpenter. I have traced my family back to the Swaledale area of Yorkshire. It seems that my Fawcetts came to Wakefield from Bradford in the middle of the 1800s - that's not to say that they didn't have cousins already living in Wakefield though. I realise that there may not be any connection, but would be very interested to compare your Fawcett details with my own and pass on any information that might help you. Good look with your research.
