Joseph Delasie Favre/Farve of New Orleans

This is my great-grandfather and I am trying to learn more about him. As far as I know he lived his entire life in New Orleans.

I know that he claimed his name was incorrectly written as "Farve" but that is the legal spelling of the last names of his four children.

Earl, Roy and Beatrice. There is a fourth son and my great-grandmother died giving birth to him. This fourth son was raised by other relatives.
