I have been researching this line for a cousin and he sent me some information from a book by Jerry Heitzmann on the Favre Family. In the book it says that Onezan J. and Margaret Favre had the following children: Lucy, James, George, Onezan and Carrie. Would anyone have a copy of the book by Beauregard Favre that might also name the children. I am trying to figure out if the two children named Onezan and James are perhaps just one person that went by both names. The 1880 Census lists the children of Onezan and Margaret Favre as: Lucy, James and George.
My cousins grandfather was named James Onezan Favre, Sr. born February 07, 1876 in MS. Died April 21, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio. He married Ida Lampley bef. 1919 and they had a child named James Onezan Favre, Jr. I have the death certificate for James Onezan Favre, Sr.(It just says James Favre on the certificate) and it states that his father's name was James and mother's maiden name was Margaret Tumer.
Also, would like to find out when Carrie was born.
If anyone can help me with this it will be appreciated.
