Hi Alan. I'm really glad that I found your message because my maternal grandmother was named Dorothy Rose Favero and she was born in Macon, Georgia. Her parents were Napolean Favero and Myrtle King. My grandmother had a younger brother named Joseph and they grew up in Porterdale, Georgia. Porterdale, Georgia is in Newton County. My great-grandparents were divorced and my grandmother and her brother Joe didn't really get to be with their Dad much after the marriage ended. Then their mom died and they were raised by their maternal grandmother. We were told that my great-grandfather moved to California after the divorce. We had always been told that this part of our family was French but then I kept reading that the name Favero is Italian. I acept the fact that this part of my family was French but I'm still curious about whether or not there is any Italian ancestory. Do you know anything about this? Are you related to my family? If you are related to us, then please send me an e-mail letter.
