Hi Mark,
In response to your query re William Bertram Faux late of Brisbane.While I know nothing of his descendants whereabouts,when I was last in Oz, I came upon a large park in Tweed Heads N.S.W. just south of Brisbane on the Pacific Highway which boasted a splendid sign 'FAUX PARK'.
This was obviously named after a well known local person.
This was before I became interested in our family history,
but it could be a lead to follow.
