Am searching for parents of Frederick Faust
who was born in "Prussia" in about 1843. He
emigrated to the US in about 1860 and settled
in Newark, N.J. He was considered to be a
prominent Republican with the Germans in Ward
6 of Newark. He was shot on the streets of
Newark in March of 1882 and died June 1,1882.
He married Caroline Dobra and had seven children.
Would love to know his parents, birth date and birthplace.
