My sister may have James's will. I have the wills of Pierre (Peter) and his eldest son, John, who died in 1753,less than 10 years after his father. What I know of James comes from my greatgrandfather, Tirey Ford. In his book he says, "In 1761 he was of Tillotson Parish, Albermarle County, this part of Albemarle became Buckingham when that county was formed in 1761. He died about 1815, in Buckingham County; married Anne Bondurant in 1729, daughter of Jean Pierre Bondurant, another Huguenot founder of Manakin Town. His eldest daughter Mary, married James Agee, it is possible that his daughter married Chastain." Additional information of this type. (names and birthdates of his nine children; changes of last name spelling; records of Peter Ford, James' eldest -- children with Judith (Daniel, Joel, Jacob, John and Obediah; children with the widow Brooke (Laban, Sally and Polly). etc. My sister may have James'will -- she's the real family geneologist. I will see what she has ... Bob
