This, unfortunately, is all I have:

Fauntleroy, William M.
       Born in Virginia.
Appointed Acting Third Assistant Engineer, CSN, from Virginia 12 September 1861. Promoted to Acting Second Assistant Engineer, 21 May 1863. Appointed Second Assistant Engineer, PNCS, 2 June 1864.
New Orleans Naval Station, 1861-1862. Jackson Naval Station, 1862. CSS Baltic, Tuscaloosa, and Morgan, Mobile Squadron, 1862-1864.
Surrendered at Nanna Hubba Bluff, Alabama, 4 May 1865. Paroled, 10 May 1865.
