Hi Ross,
I may have answered you "off board" so forgive me for my memory lapse, if so.
While you are related by marriage to Elizabeth Daniels, my connection is her sister, Fanny (my g.grandmother) who was born Tasmania 1857 and married Edward Bell, in Sydney 1878.
There was also another sister Mary Ann b.1860, but I haven't had any luck tracing her. (She was a witness at Fanny/Edward's wedding.)
I have your Cecil Valentine marrying Edith DUNN in 1917. Was your Alice the second wife or have I got it wrong.
