Robert C. Anderson's "Great Migration" says of this second marriage only that the bride's name was Mary _____, and that she died after 8 Nov. 1669, on which date she acknowledged a deed by which "Isaac Robinson of Saconeesett, husbandman, sold to John Jenkins land in Saconeesett" [The American Genealogist, 56:147, citing Plymouth County Land Records, 3:154]. I have seen no evidence that she was a Faunce, which is an unusual name and thus easy to trace in early colony records. John and Patience (Morton) Faunce did have a daughter Mary, but she married William Harlow 15 July 1658 in Plymouth [Plymouth Colony Records, 8:21], and died 4 Oct. 1664, four days after the birth of her fifth child [ibid., 8:25].
