I am looking for information on Henry Clay Faulkner of Grant County, Ky. His wife was Lucy Gauge. They had three children Pearl, Edith and Elton. He served in the Spanish American war. His death was about 1956. He always said that he did not know who his mother was. His war records also list his mother as unknown. He list his father as William Faulkner. It is the family rumor that he was an orphan. I know that he had family in Grant County. He had a farm and raised tobacco.
