Hi Susan,

Do you think there is a connection between your Falkenberry family and siblings (Benjamin, John & Elenor/Elender "Ellen" Falkenberry) who were in the 1840 Cannon Co., TN. Census? They moved to Oregon Co., MO. in the early 1850s.

One of my Mayberrys lived in Reynolds Co., MO. from 1843 to 1855, then moved down to Oregon Co., MO. after 1855 and married Benjamin Falkenberry there in 1858. By 1870 there are only the 2 sons of Benjamin Falkenberry listed in the 1870 Oregon Co., MO. Census.

I have no idea where the children of John Falkenberry moved to after 1860, and have wondered if they went down to Arkansas since many folks from Oregon Co., MO. did.

Benjamin's sons are no longer shown in Oregon Co., MO. in the 1880 Census, and I don't know what became of them.
