Hi! I am from lancaster County. My grandparents were Raymond and Maybelle Faulkenberry from the Flat Creek/ Charlesboro area of Lancaster county, SC. I would appreciate any information you can provide me. My parents still live in Lancaster, South Carolina. I know that our family goes back to before the Civil War, but not much else. I have always heard that our name originated in Eastern Europe, probably Germany, and was Vaulkenburg or something similar, before being anglicized into Faulkenberry. I live in Pompano Beach, Florida, just north of Ft. Lauderdale.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon! Thank you,
