Thomas Talton Faulk

Thomas Talton Faulk was the son of Eliza Faulk (female) and a Choctaw male. At one time I was told his mame was Adah and that he took his wife's (Eliza)maiden name of Faulk. Now I've learned that Adah stands for Alabama Dept of Archives and History - ADAH. We've reached a dead end on our great-great grandfather's Choctar lineage.

Thomas Talton and wife, Mary Flemming, are buried in the New Hope Cemetery outside of Center, Tx., in Shelby County. Their son, Frank Talton Faulk, and wife, Mary Adeline Lemons, are buried there also, as are their children, John Henry Faulk and his son Billy Bruce "Lefty" Faulk, Jarrell Faulk, son of Frank and Adeline, their daughters Clevie Faulk Eddins and sprouse, Robert Eddins, and another daughter, Vury Lee Faulk Monk and her husband, Walter Lee Monk.

If anyone can tell me the name of the Choctaw male Eliza married so we may research our Choctaw lineage, our family would be very appreciative.
